Our MiTower scaffold hire gives you a versatile, high quality tower that one person is easily able to erect and dismantle. 

They come in one size which can be erected to a working height of either 4m, 5m, or 6m. Tower Dimensions: 3m, 4m or 5m x 0.73m x 1.17m (height to top of guard rail x width x length).

The MiTower is designed for one person only and is very safe and simple to use. The tower requires one competent (and in some cases qualified) person to assemble it and should only be constructed after a thorough risk assessment has taken place. The Maximum Payload (user plus tools and materials) for this tower is 150kg.

What is included?

Our MiTower scaffold hire service is supplied complete with the following components which allows for all 3 working heights to be erected: 4 x locking castors (wheels), 4 x adjustable legs, 10 x 4 rung end frames, 2 x hatch platforms, 7 x guard rail brace panels, 4 x telescopic outriggers and 1 x toeboard set. A 3T assembly guide, designed to provide customers with step-by-step instructions to ensure that the tower is erected easily and safely, is also supplied.

Through The Trapdoor (3T) System: This method of construction reduces the risk of a fall from height when erecting the tower. Using standard components, the erector will always be protected by a set of guardrails.

A PASMA qualification may be required for commercial use, formal qualifications are not required for domestic DIY applications / users. The PASMA Course Towers for Users is available from Brandon Hire Station and is designed for personnel who will be assembling, dismantling, moving and inspecting mobile towers. A PASMA Photo Card and Certificate will be issued to successful delegates who complete the theory and practical sessions which have a five year validity period.

Outriggers must be used for all three heights, arrange these by positioning them at an angle of 45 degrees to give a footprint as close to a square as possible. If the tower needs to be moved to a new location that is at a new level or is over rough terrain, it must be dismantled fully and then rebuilt. Always check that the MiTower is level and that all platforms are fully enclosed by guardrails.
