Light duty cultivator also known as a ground tiller. This machine is designed for tilling topsoil on garden borders - vegetable plots or going over previously cultivated ground. Its robust blades rotate to turn and aerate the ground - giving you the perfect starting point for laying new turf or planting fresh crops - vegetables - and plants. Additional Information: Built to the highest standards this machine can be used at any time throughout the year - however - we recommend using the cultivator in ground that is not too hard - it is not suitable for virgin ground - for this type of application we would recommend a heavier duty machine such as our Medium Duty Rotavator. The machine has adjustable handlebars - tines with full width guard for safety - built in lifting handle - transport wheel at the front of the machine (lift when machine is in use) - General Safety Tips: Before starting work - make sure you clear the area of any objects that may cause damage to the machine and cordon off the work area to access from the general public. Only work in good light and visibility and do not operate the machine if you are under the influence of alcohol or drugs. This equipment must only be operated by persons who are medically fit both physically and mentally. Know how to stop the machine in an emergency. Always start the engine in the open air (starting an engine within a confined space can lead to the inhalation of toxic substances). Refuel (use unleaded petrol) outdoors only and replace the fuel tank cap securely. Operator clothing should not be loose - and footwear should offer a good grip.
